For twenty-five years I've been designing things that exist in both worlds — vending machines that send Christmas messages, aluminum cans that make sound, livestreaming platforms with hardware context, connected industrial systems. The work has always been about the same question: when an object becomes intelligent, what does it owe the person holding it?

I've co-founded studios, led multidisciplinary teams of designers and engineers, taught Interactive Design at Miami Ad School, and shipped products selected for Food-X (SOSV) in New York.
